OverviewBasic Grade Physiologist in GI Physiology — Full Time PermanentBon Secours Hospital Cork has a busy and rapidly growing Gastroenterology Department, with full endoscopy services. Bon Secours Hospital is providing a comprehensive service in GI Function testing including High Resolution Manometry, combined pH and impedance testing, as well as Hydrogen and Methane Breath Testing. We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates. This is an exciting opportunity based in our Cork Hospital to work in a stimulating environment with great potential for career development.Essential Qualifications & ExperiencePossess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology, or possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).If qualified in or prior to 2005: (a) Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology, or (b) possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by IICMS.Post qualification Gastroenterology Physiology experience would be a distinct advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively with management, consultants, staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.Informal enquiries: Aine Ryan, Talent Acquisition Specialist.
