Responsibilities
Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support in a busy production support environment supporting a large number of multiple sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Ensure IT systems and networks are compliant with relevant policies.
Act as an escalation point for infrastructure incidents
Provide support to the IT Service Desk, offering guidance and expertise on infrastructure-related issues.
Maintain security measures and remediate vulnerabilities.
Support patching processes.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, such as system configurations, policies, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Experience & Technical Requirements
6-10+ years’ experience in IT technical, desktop, infrastructure, networking, and enterprise systems support.
Administration experience across MS Windows Server and/or Linux environments and good skills in AD, DNS, and DHCP administration and troubleshooting.
Strong background in supporting and managing multi-site network environments including :
Enterprise Microsoft, Mobile (mdm) and VoIP environments
Implementing IT cybersecurity / security best practices, scripting / automation and backup / disaster recovery solutions
Networks - knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP
Configuration, administration, and support of servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Good hands-on expertise with networking technologies – knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet is of benefit.
Work with teams delivering IT infrastructure projects
Please Note - as part of this role you will also support our locations in Ireland. This would mean overnights !
