Our global client is seeking an experienced
HR Business Partner
to join their HR team based onsite in County Galway. This is a hands-on, highly visible role supporting one of it's Irish site's workforce, with a strong focus on day-to-day HR operations, employee engagement, and partnering closely with managers.
This is
not a specialist role
— the successful candidate will be a true HR generalist, comfortable managing the full employee lifecycle and dealing with both routine HR activities and upcoming organisational change.
Due to the nature of the site, there is a requirement for an HR presence onsite at all times, with limited but occasional flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers on-site
* Deliver end-to-end HR support across all routine HR activities
* Manage the full employee lifecycle including:
* Inductions and onboarding
* Recruitment and selection
* Employee relations and performance management
* Absence management and disciplinary processes
* Support and advise managers on people-related matters
* Play an active role in
change management
, including upcoming organisational restructures, particularly at senior management level
* Help re-establish and reinforce company ways of working and HR practices
* Engage regularly with employees, maintaining a strong onsite presence
* Occasionally support payroll activities related to compensation and benefits:
* Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and company policies
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* Strong HR generalist background (ideally at HRBP or Senior HR Advisor level)
* Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment (desirable)
* Comfortable working onsite and being highly visible
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Confident engaging with employees at all levels, including senior management
* Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring
* Solid understanding of Irish employment law
Preferred:
* Experience in a multi-site Irish organisation
* Exposure to payroll reporting or compensation & benefits administration
* Ability to work autonomously within a small HR team
