Grade: Assistant Manager
Contract type: 12-month fixed term contract
We are delighted to start the search for an experienced Communications & Employee Engagement Specialist to join the Culture & Change team and work on our new Dublin headquarters project (Harcourt Square, Harcourt Street). This is a flagship project and the single biggest investment undertaken by KPMG in Ireland.
Responsibilities
This role is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape the storytelling of our new HQ, where colleagues from three Dublin offices will come together under the one roof. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in developing the employee experience and overall culture, with more specific responsibilities included below:
* Excite, inform and engage colleagues as we build and move to our new headquarters in 2026 and beyond
* Help create a best-in-class employee experience in our new home
* Project co-ordination of the wider communications and engagement workstream including liaising with the external comms and marketing team, managing deadlines etc.
* Craft compelling stories on the different aspects of our new HQ, and what it will mean for colleagues, clients and community
* Storyboard and develop a series of engaging and innovative videos with an external supplier and our internal Creative Services team to bring to life what’s relevant to colleagues
* Liaise with our Transformation & Change team to develop orientation communications and/or wider change comms where needed
* Support stakeholders / SMEs to translate operational communications into digestible content
* Plan and organise how we will welcome colleagues to our new office
* Work with marketing and/or external comms to organise welcome/farewell events
* Support wider internal communications execution, culture and employee engagement initiatives
Key Skills And Attributes Required
* Substantial experience in a communications and/or human resources role, ideally for a large or medium organisation
* Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline
* Excellent writing and proofreading skills are essential. Proven experience writing and tailoring content for specific audiences that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs
* Experience creating compelling content and campaigns across a variety of channels and tools (including town halls, announcements, newsletters, video messages, etc)
* Strong stakeholder management with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A self starter who is used to working from own initiative and at pace / to deadlines
* A natural storyteller with strong influencing and engagement skills who can build credibility and trust
* Skilled in PowerPoint, other digital/design/communications software desirable (Poppulo highly desirable) but not essential
