Main Purpose – To lead and manage all aspects of human resource management, ensuring the implementation of best HR practices to support employee engagement, performance, legal compliance, and the overall growth of the organisation. The HR Manager will play a key role in shaping company culture, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a positive working environment.

Key Activities –

* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.
* Provide support and guidance to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
* Maintain and enhance the organisation's HR systems, processes, and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
* Lead employee relations efforts, including handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
* Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and organisational capability.
* Monitor key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absence, engagement) and report insights to senior leadership.
* Ensure all HR practices comply with Irish employment legislation and data protection regulations.
* Oversee compensation and benefits processes, including payroll coordination and employee wellbeing initiatives.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, diversity, and inclusion within the workforce.
* Support performance management systems, including appraisals, goal setting, and career progression planning.
* Any other HR or business support duties as required.

Education –

* A recognised qualification in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a similar HR role.
* CIPD membership or working towards it is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and HRIS systems.

Experience/Skills –

* Demonstrated experience in HR leadership and policy development.
* Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR compliance.
* Proven ability to manage recruitment, performance, and employee relations processes.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with data reporting and HR analytics is a plus.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
* Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

Leadership and Accountability –

* This role involves leading the HR function and supporting the management team.
* Responsible for providing advice and guidance to staff at all levels.
* Accountable for ensuring HR compliance and supporting organisational change.
* Must take initiative to drive positive change in workforce engagement and company culture.

Contacts –

* Managing Director – As required
* General Manager – Regular interaction
* Department Heads/Managers – Regular HR support and guidance
* External HR Advisors / Legal Professionals – As needed

Complexity –

The role operates within structured HR procedures but often requires judgment and flexibility in handling sensitive issues.

Confidentiality –

* Must handle highly confidential employee and business data with professionalism and integrity.
* The HR Manager must maintain strict confidentiality at all times and ensure full compliance with GDPR and internal data protection policies, upholding the highest standards in managing personal and sensitive data.

Meeting Deadlines/Pressure of Work –

* Regular deadlines for HR reporting, compliance activities, recruitment, and performance cycles.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and unexpected HR matters calmly and effectively.

Pay: €50,000.00-€550,000.00 per year
