Graduate Engineer– Permanent, Onsite | €35-40k per year |We are looking for aGraduate Engineerwith at least1 year of experience in the road industryto join a leading technical team in Ireland. This is a permanent, onsite role offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in chemical and materials engineering within a dynamic industrial environment. You will be part of a company that develops innovative road construction solutions and chemical products used in bitumen and pavement materials, with a strong focus on research, product development, and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:Conduct chemical, bitumen, and emulsion testing to defined specifications.Record, analyse, and communicate test results to the Technical Manager and team.Support product development, R&D, and technical troubleshooting.Participate in the development of new test methods and lab practices.Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.Communicate to maintain inventory of small equipment, chemicals, and supplies.Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.Minimum 1 year of experience in the road industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Desirable: Laboratory experience, co-op/internship in industrial settings, knowledge of pavement materials and testing.Skills & Competencies:Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Good organisational and multitasking abilities.Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.Interest in materials science and technical development.Strong written and spoken English; ability to write technical reports.Personal Characteristics:Integrity and adherence to compliance and safety standards.Enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to learn.Punctual, adaptable, and assertive.Comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders.This role is ideal for a graduate engineer with road industry experience looking to develop technical expertise, contribute to innovative projects, and grow within a collaborative, research-driven environment that focuses on cutting-edge materials and sustainable road solutions.APPLY NOW
