Supervisor l Team Lead l Technical l ManufacturingAbout the RoleThe Engineering Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all plant, equipment and production machinery operate effectively and safely. You will oversee maintenance activities, preventative maintenance programmes, plant services, and engineering support for production lines. You will also play a key role in equipment development, process improvements, and compliance with safety and GMP standards.This position requires a strong technical background, excellent diagnostic capability (including electrical troubleshooting), and proven leadership experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee maintenance and preventative maintenance activities across all production equipment.Support installation, commissioning, and ongoing development of new machinery.Provide advanced electrical faultfinding and diagnostic support.Carry out repairs, rework and tooling adjustments using machine shop tools and measuring equipment.Conduct calibration of process equipment and ensure accuracy of instruments.Monitor equipment performance, identify risks or downtime trends, and recommend improvements.Support product and process improvement projects, including blueprint updates and engineering calculations.Evaluate new components and investigate components that deviate from standard specifications.Maintain high housekeeping, safety and GMP standards, ensuring compliance with all procedures.Prepare reports on engineering activities, progress, and performance metrics.Ensure staff are trained appropriately and that training is kept up to date.Collaborate effectively with all internal departments to support operational needs.Promote strong Health & Safety culture across all engineering and facilities activities.About YouExperienceTechnically strong with excellent handson diagnostic ability.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.Ability to work cross functionally and build positive working relationships.Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fastmoving environment.Experience in an electrical background is an advantage.Essential Criteria:Degree in engineering or electrical, experience in tool making or fitting/turning.10 years' experience in high volume production environment with basic knowledge of Q.A. procedures.Previous supervisory experience—or clear leadership potential.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Previous supervisory experience or supervisory potential.Being a proven problem solver.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingWellness programWork Location: In person
