The Role
Manor Farm is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Controller to join our Quality Control team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment while contributing to the delivery of safe, high quality products.
Day Shift: 8:00am – 4:15pm (Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out chemical, physical, and microbiological testing, taking appropriate corrective action where required
* Monitor and ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external certifications (e.g. BRC, HACCP)
* Maintain daily and weekly quality records and verify accuracy
* Conduct regular hygiene and food safety audits
* Ensure all products leaving the factory meet food safety and quality requirements
* Oversee plant and factory hygiene to the highest standards
* Assist in training operators (e.g. food hygiene training)
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes
About You
* Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.
* A good standard of English is essential.
* A positive, reliable team player with strong communication skills.
* Good numeracy, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Willingness to learn and take initiative.
* Flexible to work a variety of shift patterns.
