Overview
Responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor on jobsites while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project.
Responsibilities
1. Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
2. Complete all required safety documentation.
3. Perform various functions such as digging, spreading, and leveling dirt and gravel with hand tools.
4. Lift, carry, and handle building materials, tools, and supplies.
5. Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
6. Mix, pour, and place concrete, gravel, and other materials using hand tools.
7. Join, wrap, and seal sections of pipe.
8. Perform routine tasks such as removing forms from set concrete, filling expansion joints with caulking, and rebar placement.
9. Assist in cleanup, demolition, cutting with torches, using jackhammers, and placing culverts or pipes in trenches.
10. Work on one job or transfer between tasks as the project progresses.
11. Travel to different job sites as needed.
12. Provide assistance on-site as required.
13. Maintain and care for assigned tools.
14. Perform physical labor on construction sites.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or 1-3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Commit to health and safety, following Wanzek's Zero Injury principles.
* Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
* Ability to perform basic math operations involving units of measurement and volume.
* Apply common sense and follow written or oral instructions.
* Work accurately within set standards and procedures.

* Hourly wage: $15.00 - $19.00, depending on experience.
