About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in CAMHS, Westmeath. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering therapeutic care to children and adolescents with complex emotional and psychological challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop personalized care plans for young people and their families.
* Provide individual and family-based interventions to promote positive mental health outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with psychiatry, psychology, nursing, and occupational therapy teams to ensure cohesive care.
* Liaise with schools, GPs, and community supports to provide wrap-around services.
Senior Social Worker Opportunities
* Supervise junior staff and contribute to service development, providing clinical leadership and guidance.
* Pursue post-qualification experience in CAMHS or relevant mental health settings to enhance skills and expertise.
Requirements
* Staff Grade: CORU registration as a Social Worker is essential.
* Experience in mental health, child protection, or youth settings is required.
* Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
Senior Grade Requirements
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in CAMHS or relevant mental health work.
* Experience in clinical supervision, complex case management, and interagency collaboration.
* Demonstrated contribution to service development.
