Medical Specialist Role
A staffing grade Medical Scientist position is required in a Tipperary University Hospital laboratory. The ideal candidate will have experience in Biochemistry or Hematology and be available to work 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitoring consumables and reagent stock supplies associated with the section.
* Participating in laboratory meetings, including assessment of performance, development of the service, and organizational changes. Contributing to effective communication within the department.
* Maintaining and improving analytical quality in the department by participating in Quality Assurance audits
The Ideal Candidate:
* Be registered on the Medical Scientists Register at CORU or eligible for registration
* Have permission to work in Ireland
* Possess a professional approach to work
