About Our Tax Function
We are seeking a Tax Analyst to join our team in supporting the company's tax function across all areas of taxation.
The role will work closely with internal finance, legal, and development teams as well as external advisors to ensure the company remains fully compliant and tax efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate and timely preparation, completion and filing of indirect and direct tax returns.
* Co-ordinate tax advisory for acquisitions, disposals and development projects.
* Provide tax advisory support to various business units within the company.
* Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives in tax reporting.
* Maintain and update tax records and documentation.
* Support audits and provide documentation and analysis as required.
* Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and implement efficiencies.
* Liaise with external advisors to ensure compliance with local tax legislation.
Requirements:
* Professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), ACA/ACCA) or currently pursuing.
* 2–4 years' experience in tax (practice or industry), ideally with exposure to the Real Estate sector.
* Strong understanding of Irish tax legislation, especially in VAT.
* Familiarity with Real Estate tax issues such as capital allowances, stamp duty, and RCT is advantageous.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software (e.g., Sage)
* Proficient in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
