Property / Conveyancing Solicitor, Public Sector
This permanent position will be based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath and sits within the Legal, Conveyancing & Procurement team. You will be responsible for managing a large caseload of property transactions efficiently, accurately and in compliance with internal procedures and relevant legislation. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support to property executives in structuring transactions and in relation to a wide range of queries. Great opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years PQE who is looking to move in-house.
- Manage a large case load of property transactions from initial instruction to completion including acquisitions, freehold and leasehold sales, occupational leases, options, easements, and licences.
- Provide comprehensive and commercially relevant legal advice and support to the Property Team
- Resolution of property related debt and legally pursue where necessary.
- To identify and resolve mapping and title discrepancies and draft deeds of rectification as required.
- Prepare responses to internal/external Property Audit queries, Freedom of Information Act requests and Parliamentary Questions.
- Ensure the Property Team are kept abreast of new legislation, directives and guidance notes relevant to the management of the property portfolio.

This permanent position will have a starting salary of €51,511 (as per public sector, appointment is made at minimum point of scale for new entrants, €51,511 - €73,985) plus benefits along with a hybrid working model of 2 days per week working from home.
