The
Transformation & Change
(T&C) team is a multidisciplinary internal team responsible for delivering strategic programmes and projects within KPMG.
The team brings together technical, project delivery and change management skillsets to partner with the business in identifying opportunities, shaping solutions and delivering sustainable outcomes.
We are looking for a
Business Transformation Officer
to specialise in managing an active pipeline of work, ensuring proposed projects are aligned with the firm's long-term strategic objectives and are positioned for successful delivery.
As a Business Transformation professional, you will play a pivotal role at the front end of the transformation lifecycle.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to assess ideas, define opportunities and ensure that initiatives are viable, valuable and sufficiently supported before progressing into delivery.
The role combines strategic thinking, analytical rigour, structured problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and assess an active pipeline of potential transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
Assess whether initiatives are the right fit for the organisation, deliver sufficient value and have adequate business sponsorship to succeed.
Support progression of approved initiatives into delivery, ensuring clarity of scope, expectations and handover to delivery teams.
Conduct feasibility studies on proposed projects, considering scope, cost, benefits, risks, timelines and organisational readiness.
Develop robust cost-benefit analyses to support the creation of clear business cases.
Gather and document high-level business requirements and support early-stage solution design and solutioning discussions.
Perform option analysis, evaluating alternative approaches and providing clear recommendations supported by evidence.
Produce high-level effort estimates, resourcing requirements and delivery timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement
Plan and facilitate discovery workshops to clearly define problems, objectives, high-level requirements and success measures.
Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including preparing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
5 years' experience within a commercial, finance, corporate or project management environment.
Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative and structured approach to shaping solutions.
Solid understanding of business case development, including cost-benefit analysis.
Strong numerical ability and comfort working with financial models, estimates and data.
Experience using AI tools and automation to support analysis or improve ways of working is an advantage.
