Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Demonstrate evidence of initiating, developing and implementing major clinical radiotherapy programmes in a multidisciplinary environment
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in delivering and developing external beam and brachytherapy services
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience with radiotherapy physics dosimetry
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in dealing with treatment planning issues and systems
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in initiation, participation and completion of research and development programmes. Have published in the peer reviewed scientific literature in the area of radiotherapy physics. Include list of publications, presentations as an addendum to your application form for this post
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience of supervising and teaching at 3rd level and professional levels
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in managing the delivery of a comprehensive radiotherapy physics service
* Demonstrate strong scientific leadership, management, motivational, mentoring, supervisory and analytical skills
* Demonstrate excellent ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a leadership role where required
* Demonstrate ability to identify, initiate and implement service developments and/or changes
* Have developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Have the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex scientific issues to scientists and non‑scientists using a range of tools
* Demonstrate highly developed collaboration and organisational skills with the ability to establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships with professional and managerial staff at a range of levels
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to organise and prioritise own work and plan & supervise work of others
