As a skilled CNC programmer, you will be responsible for programming and setting Fanuc-controlled lathes to produce complex components from steel and stainless steel. This role involves interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture precision components, with a focus on accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
* Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
* Machine low-volume, high-specification parts with a focus on accuracy
* Inspect and verify finished components to ensure quality standards are met
* Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to process improvements
* Maintain records relating to program changes and machine settings
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in CNC turning, with strong Fanuc programming knowledge
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings
* Experience working with large components and machining stainless steel
* CADCAM experience is advantageous, but training will be provided if needed
* Milling experience is desirable but not essential
