As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities across all owned segments.
You will source and win new business, collaborate with the Area Director of Sales, and represent the hotels at sales team meetings and customer-led events.
In addition to sales activities such as telesales, sales calls, corporate entertaining, fam trips, social events, and overseas sales trips, you will also undertake monthly corporate tracking of corporate accounts, analyze GDS production reports and market intelligence information, and execute actions from quarterly sales activity plans.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a similar position in hotels, be an effective communicator, commercially aware with strong analytical skills, understand and identify business trends, and possess excellent organisation and planning skills.
Sales focused and results driven, you will also need to have strong negotiating skills, ability to develop and build long-lasting relationships through account management and promote cross-selling into Dalata Hotel Group's existing customer base.
The role requires experience of working with global clients and agencies, with knowledge of the Galway market being desirable but not essential.
