Job Title: Test Equipment Specialist
As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for performing testing on medical device products and components using automated, semi-automated and manual methods.
* You will provide support to R&D teams in the development and verification testing of new and existing products.
* Develops and coordinates inspection and testing procedures for prototypes, components and products.
* Formulates test guidelines and procedures and may recommend revisions of specifications where necessary.
* Set up and perform routine to non-routine experiments of moderate scope which comply with FDA requirements and appropriate engineering standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Level 6 certificate in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience.
* Ability to work with and assemble small objects and component parts.
* Good visual acuity and fine motor skills.
* Ability to observe and correct minute inconsistencies.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Advanced computer hardware/software skills.
* Mechanical/electrical problem solving skills.
* Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings.
Work Environment:
This is a permanent role located at our Innovation Centre. You will be working fully onsite.
