Mechanical Engineer Dublin €50-65k
We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a leading M&E Contractor based in Dublin where you will be part of a team working on a wide range of building services disciplines across numerous sectors.
The successful candidate will be working alongside developers, project managers, contractors and end-user clients overseeing projects from feasibility and design through to construction.
Key Accountabilities
* Responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of engineering and specifications on new projects
* Maintain planning and cost control on the mechanical scope of works
* Undertake a client-facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services
* Survey, test, and report on existing electrical/mechanical installations.
* Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards.
* Oversee validation and checking of designs and specifications.
Requirements
* Experienced engineer with a recognised Mechanical/Building Services qualification
* Able to demonstrate a high level of understanding of M&E systems
* Excellent knowledge of Mechanical/HVAC systems
* Confident in talking to a wide range of people to build relationships
* Understanding of Revit and BIM principles
* Must be a good team player but able to work independently
* Confident communicator both verbally and in writing
