This isn’t your typical operations job. As a Business Operations Specialist, you’ll be at the centre of everything - helping to build, optimise, and scale every part of the business. One day you might be designing a go-to-market campaign, the next you’re preparing investor updates, automating an internal workflow, or negotiating an event sponsorship.
You’ll work directly with the founders, have visibility into every function (sales, marketing, product, finance, and strategy), and be trusted to make decisions that move the company forward. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, acts fast, and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a startup.
No two days are the same, but here’s a taste of what you’ll own:
Business Operations
Work directly with the founders on board reporting, investor updates, and key strategic initiatives.
Spot gaps in processes and proactively design solutions - whether that’s automating workflows, testing new tools, or refining sales operations.
Build business cases for new tools or opportunities and present recommendations to the leadership team.
Sales & Go-to-Market Support
Own operations of lead generation tools like Apollo (and test others as needed).
Research and build prospect lists, verify leads, and help drive top-of-funnel growth.
Identify, plan, and coordinate events, conferences, and webinars where Cytidel should have a presence.
Build and update pitch decks for sales, investors, and partners.
Marketing & Brand
Manage Cytidel’s presence on LinkedIn - from ideating posts to writing thought leadership content and sharing company updates.
Collaborate with the team to produce marketing materials and campaigns that showcase our expertise and product.
Track performance and continuously look for ways to improve engagement and awareness.
Finance & Investor Relations
Manage monthly investor updates and assist with board meeting preparation.
Coordinate payments and work with our finance partners on monthly accounts.
Maintain visibility over budgets and help ensure we’re operating efficiently.
Project Management & Cross-functional Collaboration
Track progress across all teams using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Run weekly check-ins, collate team updates, and build decks for bi-weekly All Hands meetings.
Maintain documentation and ensure the whole team has access to accurate, up-to-date information.
You thrive in a startup: you love variety, embrace change, and get energy from solving new problems every day.
You have a bias for action - when you see something that needs doing, you get it done.
You have a high sense of urgency and can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining quality and focus.
You’re analytical and resourceful, great at identifying what the business needs and figuring out how to deliver it.
You’re commercially minded, comfortable across sales, marketing, finance, and strategy.
You’re tech-curious, eager to test and implement tools that drive efficiency and scale.
You’re a strong communicator and storyteller, both internally and externally.
Nice to Have – You don’t need to have this now but you need to want it.
Experience in a high-growth startup or consulting environment.
Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, or similar GTM tools.
Interest in cybersecurity and a desire to make an impact in a fast-moving, high-stakes industry.
Skills in Power BI, Excel, or other data analysis tools.
Work side-by-side with experienced founders and a passionate team tackling real-world cybersecurity problems.
Huge opportunity for ownership and personal growth - you’ll shape not just your role, but the company’s future.
A culture that values initiative, creativity, and continuous learning.
Every idea counts, and execution matters more than hierarchy.
In short:
This is the role for someone who wants to do it all — and actually can. You’ll learn fast, move faster, and make a tangible impact every day
