The Rose Hotel is looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team
The Main Duties Of The Role Are
* To follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations and enforce HACCP
* To prepare and produce food for the area which you are assigned and to the agreed standards in conjunction with the other chefs.
* To minimise wastage.
* To ensure all necessary mis-en-place are ready prior to service.
* To follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations.
* To work with your colleagues in different sections of the kitchen
* To ensure that the guests' needs and requirements are met.
* To ensure a. high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
* To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and other persons on the premises.
* To adhere to fire drills.
* To observe all safety procedures and rules.
* To report and where possible take action on incidents of accidents and damage.
* To attend all training courses as notified to you by management.
* To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform
* To carry out any other duties as may be notified to you by management.
* To ensure Kelsius is being updated on a regular basis.
About The Role
This is a full time role, working 5 days with 2 days off
The hotel is open all year round
Working in different sections of the kitchen
Rostered to work a 42.5 hour working week including weekends and public holidays
To be part of a team
Must have fluent English

Required Criteria
* Ability to rigidly follow hygiene regulations and enforce HACCP.
* Commitment to high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
* Willingness to attend all training courses as notified by management.
* Punctuality and pride in wearing the correct uniform.
* Adherence to all safety procedures, rules, and fire drills.
* Have you 2 years experience as a Commis Chef?
