Galmere Fresh Foods Ltd are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our busy soup production team. The ideal candidate will have strong cooking skills, the ability to follow recipes and production guidelines precisely, and the leadership qualities to manage a small kitchen team. This role requires long hours, consistency, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook soups and related products according to established recipes and production schedules.Ensure consistent flavour, texture, and presentation across all batches.Follow all recipes, portion controls, and production specifications accurately.Supervise and coordinate a small team of kitchen or production staff.Monitor cooking processes and adjust temperatures, and timings as necessary.Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all work areas, complying with food safety and hygiene standards.Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure company standards are met,Manage stock levels and report shortages or issues promptly.Adhere to health and safety policies and maintain a safe working environment at all times.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a cook, chef, or food production operator, ideally within a high-volume environment.Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and hygiene practices.Excellent attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of work.Ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures precisely.Reliable, punctual, and able to work long hours when required.
