We encourage in-person meetings but we also provide remote joining.The Board also holds up to two strategic planning sessions per year, usually a full day on a Saturday.Board members are also required to take a role on at least one subcommittee. There are different levels of commitment depending on the committee, some meet monthly, some less frequently.Board members are required to do mandatory yearly training in Ethics, GDPR and Money Laundering.Board members also support the Credit Union in its various community activities.All Credit Unions are required to hold AGMs, where the directors are elected. In this instance, a new director is co-opted to the board and then put forward for election for a three-year term at the next AGM.
