Senior Procurement Category Manager - IT/ICT/Prof ServicesI am seeking aSenior Procurement Category Managerto lead the procurement of technology goods and professional services in a fast-moving environment.This is an important leadership role responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives, value for money, compliance and supporting and overall digital transformation.In this role you will:Develop and implement long-term strategic category plans for IT.Lead and mentor a team in a high-performance culture.Drive best practice and continuous improvement across sourcing and procurement activities.Be a trusted advisor to stakeholders, delivering value through innovative sourcing strategies.Strategic Sourcing & Category ManagementCreate and execute sourcing strategies for IT categories including Software and Professional Services.Apply strategic sourcing methodologies such as cost analysis, vendor scorecards, market research, benchmarking, and TCO assessments.Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.Risk & Compliance ManagementEnsure adherence to procurement policies, processes, and systems for all IT spend.Oversee vendor contract renewals and approvals in line with governance requirements.Leadership & Team DevelopmentProvide clear direction, coaching, and development for team members.Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance performance.Stakeholder ManagementBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders and technology leadership teams.Influence decision-making through effective communication and strategic insights.You will bring:Degree/Dip in Business, Procurement, ICT/Technology, etc.Minimum 10 years' experience in IT Category Management, with 5 years in a team leadership role.Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Strong communication skills alongside and stakeholder managementA competitive benefits package is on offer for the successful candidate
