Supervising Pharmacist – Kickham St, Thurles
Full‑time position, 36 hours per week, 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
What you'll be doing
Deliver expert care by ensuring the dispensary operates to the highest legal and professional standards, in line with PSI guidelines and pharmacy law.
Put patients first by providing a safe, efficient, and friendly dispensing service following McCabes Pharmacy best practices.
Provide best‑in‑class services such as vaccinations, health screenings and patient counselling.
Lead with integrity by upholding the highest standards of ethics, accuracy, and professionalism in every aspect of your role.
Support safe access to medicines by ensuring timely and secure delivery of medications to all customers.
Collaborate with care, working closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide joined‑up patient care.
Stay on top of the detail by supporting the monthly claims process with accurate and timely submissions to the relevant payment boards.
Essential criteria
Must be 3 years qualified as a Pharmacist.
Must hold a PSI‑approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
