The Supply Chain Planner role is a dynamic and challenging position that requires the ability to manage complex supply chains, develop effective relationships with vendors, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimizing Stock Levels: Work alongside the Procurement Team to ensure optimal stock holding and management, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
* Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate vendor relationships and maintain accurate forecasting with vendors every week, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* KPI-Driven Performance: Ensure relationships with vendors are maintained to the highest standards through a suite of vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), measuring and tracking each vendor's service level, and basing procurement decisions on performance.
Collaborate closely with the Warehouse and Wholesale teams to ensure the swift and efficient handling of all products into the Uniphar Warehouse Management System. The successful candidate will also work with Uniphar Accounts Payable to ensure prompt and efficient payment processes.
Requirements:
* Procurement Targets: Ensuring department procurement targets are achieved each month, driving revenue growth and meeting business objectives.
* Operational Excellence: Effectively running the day-to-day operations of OS stock management and procurement, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.
* Analytical Support: Supporting with stock, sales, and Gross Margin (GM) analysis as required, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
