Position: Technical Facilities Manager
We are seeking a Technical Facilities Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and systems within the industrial facility to ensure efficient operations, optimal equipment performance, and minimized downtime.
* Lead a team of maintenance technicians, developing and implementing proactive maintenance programs.
* Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to enhance asset reliability.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and legislation.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance using the Plant CMMS / CAFM system.
* Manage, train, and mentor maintenance technicians to maintain high technical performance.
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for parts and services.
* Prepare and oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring resource efficiency.
* Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
* Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure analysis to resolve issues and enhance equipment performance.
* Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for compliance audits.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Certificate/Diploma or Senior Trades qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation fields.
* Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams and projects.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Flexibility for on-call duties.
* High attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Experience with CMMS systems.
* IND1 certification.
