Role: Senior Environmental Consultant – Dublin
ATG are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join a growing team in Dublin.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of environmental impact assessments, planning applications, and sustainability projects, collaborating with engineers, ecologists, and planners to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage environmental consultancy projects across multiple sectors (infrastructure, energy, construction, etc.).
Prepare Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), Environmental Reports, and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs).
Conduct environmental due diligence, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
Engage with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and planning requirements.
Provide technical expertise in environmental management, sustainability, and mitigation strategies.
Supervise junior consultants, providing mentorship and quality assurance for technical reports and assessments.
Stay up to date with environmental legislation, policy changes, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Planning, or a related discipline.
A master's degree is advantageous.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consultancy or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Irish and EU environmental legislation and planning frameworks.
Proven experience in preparing and managing EIARs and environmental compliance assessments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Experience in project management, business development, or client management is a plus.
