Role: Senior Environmental Consultant – Dublin
ATG are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join a growing team in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of environmental impact assessments, planning applications, and sustainability projects, collaborating with engineers, ecologists, and planners to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage environmental consultancy projects across multiple sectors (infrastructure, energy, construction, etc.).
* Prepare Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), Environmental Reports, and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs).
* Conduct environmental due diligence, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
* Engage with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and planning requirements.
* Provide technical expertise in environmental management, sustainability, and mitigation strategies.
* Supervise junior consultants, providing mentorship and quality assurance for technical reports and assessments.
* Stay up to date with environmental legislation, policy changes, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
* A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Planning, or a related discipline. A master's degree is advantageous.
* Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consultancy or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of Irish and EU environmental legislation and planning frameworks.
* Proven experience in preparing and managing EIARs and environmental compliance assessments.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
* Experience in project management, business development, or client management is a plus.
