Atrium Global is supporting a client in the pharmaceutical industry to recruit two Statisticians to join their Global Statistics function.
Job Overview
The successful candidates will deliver day-to-day statistical support across a range of activities including analytical method analysis, stability studies, design of experiments, validation, tech transfer, and manufacturing support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting global product development and supply functions while ensuring data-driven decision-making, process robustness, and regulatory compliance. This role offers excellent exposure and development opportunities within a collaborative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide statistical support using tools such as Python, JMP, SAS, and R.
* Support activities including stability analysis, design of experiments, common statistical techniques, and analytical method assessment.
* Contribute to CMC statistical activities and work with internal teams including NSAT and ASAP.
* Analyse process data and correlations relating to process parameters.
* Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations.
* Collaborate effectively with local and global teams across multiple sites.
* Deliver training to colleagues where required (including experience gained in academic settings).
REQUIREMENTS
* Masters degree in statistics, mathematics, data analytics, engineering, or a related STEM field.
* Minimum 6 months industry or academic experience in applied statistics.
* Strong practical experience with statistical software such as Python, SAS, JMP, or R.
* Solid foundation in core statistical methods; strong focus on applied statistics rather than machine learning.
* Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
* Sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
NICE TO HAVE
* General understanding of biologics or chemical engineering.
