Job Description & Summary
About us:
In our Business Enablement Solutions department, the Tech Central team empowers
our core business functions by delivering innovative,
flexible
and secure IT services that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.
We are looking for associate to join our Development Services in the areas of
automation
and development.
In this role you will
work
a dynamic team of data engineers,
developers
and reporting & analytics specialists. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and people skills
.
Key responsibilities include:
* Liaise with client engagement teams to deliver automation and data & analytics services.
* Provide 2
nd
/3rd level support for the department's standard applications.
Manage service level agreements for the core service
* Help in
i
dentifying
the
appropriate technology
solutions and designing,
developing
and implementing those solutions.
* Support the line of service technology and transformation
teams
dedicated market offerings as
appropriate
.
* Be i
nvolved in t
echnical
discussions
and projects
supporting management
.
* Design, develop and implement innovative solutions using agile software development methodologies
.
* Ensure quality process and solution design documents are produced
.
* Adhere to software development lifecycle on Azure DevOps
.
Scope/Overall Summary of Role & Responsibilities
* Work with client teams to deliver and manage to deliver and manage IT/process projects/automation projects.
* Support engagement teams' use of technologies to improve efficiencies.
* Liaise with management to help PwC's central IT
teams to
deliver value added services and support.
* Support and report directly to management.
* Proposing,
defining
and documenting reusable solutions and fixes.
* Supporting and testing new/upgrades software.
* Creating statistics on usage of various applications.
* Documenting technical and risk documentation. Document procedures for incident resolution.
Education/Professional Qualifications
Candidates to have a third level qualification (Hons) in an IT related discipline

skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management and to a non-technical audience

* Strong understanding of coding concepts as well as demonstratable experience with at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript)

* Understanding/experience with designing and implementing

* Good understanding and experience of automation.

* Data analysis skills

* Basic security understanding with regards to access control management and data management
.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
