A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer (Chartered or near Chartered) to join its growing team in Dublin | Galway | Cork. With a strong pipeline of high-profile projects across both public and private sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role delivering complex and impactful developments.As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, coordination, and delivery of structural solutions, while supporting the development of junior engineers and contributing to client engagement.You will work within highly experienced teams on a wide range of projects, from concept through to construction, ensuring technical excellence and efficient design outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept to completionPrepare and review structural analysis, calculations, and technical reportsTake ownership of project elements, ensuring delivery to programme and budgetCoordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and wider design teamsAttend and lead design team meetings and client engagementsConduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and specificationsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersContribute to value engineering and commercial decision-makingSupport the development of client relationships and identify new business opportunitiesEnsure designs comply with relevant standards, including EurocodesRequirements & SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of structural engineering principlesProven experience in buildings-focused structural designAbility to lead projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, and graphical)Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesCommercial awareness and ability to deliver efficient design solutionsQualifications & Experience6+ years’ structural engineering experience (Ireland or UK experience essential)Chartered Engineer (CEng) or close to achieving Chartered status with Engineers Ireland or equivalentLevel 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringExperience in mentoring and supporting junior team membersStrong client-facing skills and ability to build lasting relationshipsWhy Apply?Opportunity to take a lead role on major projectsWork within a collaborative and supportive team environmentClear pathway for career progression and leadership developmentExposure to a diverse and high-quality project portfolioPlease contact maeve.curran@allsite.ie for a confidential chat
