An exciting opportunity now exists for the position of a Fire Safety Manger. This role will be the responsible person for mandatory requirements set out in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, Fire Services Act 1981 & 2003 and S.I. No. 496/1997 Building Control Regulations The fire Safety Manager would lead fire strategy development, ensuring all personnel are equipped to respond effectively in emergencies. The role will also conduct regular evacuation drills and safety briefings and is responsible for ensuring the Fire prevention strategies and plans are up to date and relevant for a complex airport environment. The role also conducts investigations and lessons learnt to ensure that improvements are constantly made to the wider fire strategy.As a member of the Safety Delivery management team and wider Operational Safety team, the Fire Safety Manager will lead engagement with stakeholders both internally and externally .This role will report into Safety Delivery Manager. Given the specialist nature of this role the holder must have technical qualifications and experience of working within multi -complex environments and will ideally have experience in working with multiple stakeholders and organisations. This role may involve out of hours work from time to time depending on departmental requirements.
