We in Beacon Medical Group are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team on a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to gain valuable experience within a dynamic finance function and make a meaningful contribution during a key period.
The Role: Preparation of monthly management accounts, by providing business and financial performance Preparation of budgets and forecasting External reporting (Bank, VAT, Intrastat, Bank)Oversee working capital and operating cash flows Group Consolidation, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Fixed Assets Register.
Liaise with internal and external auditors & Tax advisors.
Banking and covenant compliance reporting Other Ad hoc duties Th Person Candidate must be a qualified accountant with minimum 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role Monthly management accounts preparation experience is essential, and in the healthcare sector advantageous The candidate must have strong technical accounting skills Ability to plan and meet deadlines Strong organisational skills Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clinical staff across the group and stakeholders Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Team player, but able to work independently.
Good general IT skills (Sage, MS Office, online banking, ROS etc).
