Motor Mechanic Job Description:You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of cars, trucks, and Vans. This role ensures vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance (e.g., oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations)Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and manual techniquesRepair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systemsInstall and maintain batteries, belts, hoses, and other essential partsTest vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance and safetyMaintain accurate records of services performed and parts usedCommunicate with customers about issues, repairs, and preventive maintenanceRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsProficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipmentKnowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical componentsAttention to detail and commitment to safety standardsExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience of working with BMW's would be a distinct advantageDemonstrated experience of engine re-build is also an advantage.Prior experience in a workshop or dealership setting is preferred.Clondrinagh Motor Centre is located in the Clondrinagh Industrial Estate at V94R866Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €35,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
