Job DescriptionJoin our fabulous team at McWilliam Park Hotel as a Front Office Supervisor The Reception Supervisor's key purpose is to ensure a smooth and efficient running of the front desk. They should also maximise sales opportunities for all meetings, conferences, and events in the hotel.
Reception interacts with all departments, ensuring everyone is aware of all daily events in relation to guest concerns.About McWilliam ParkThe McWilliam Park Hotel is a Failte Ireland approved luxurious four-star hotel.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a popular hotel for celebrating special occasions like weddings or to enjoy a romantic break or family getaway.The hotel boasts 103 comfortable large sized hotel bedrooms, a leisure club (Evolve Health & Fitness) with a fully equipped gym, an indoor heated swimming pool and children's pool. Responsibilities:· Reception is the initial point of contact for any guest query; the supervisor and reception team's role is to address the query within the reception team when possible and pass on to relevant party immediately when necessary to ensure all concerns are addressed and followed through.
Regular communication channels and excellent rapport with all departments within the hotel is a requirement for this role.· To ensure all room allocations are correct· To ensure all billing is correct before presenting to guests· To ensure all daily cash ups are accurate and administered in a timely manner· To amend, revise, and implement Standard Operating Procedures as business needs evolve· To ensure all Reception Team members are trained on the most up to date SOPs· To ensure all wedding and events enquiries are passed to the Sales Department immediately.· To establish strong understanding of all hotel services and capabilities and persuasively explain these offerings to potential guests, actively seeking upselling opportunities.
