Job Description:
As a Field Service Technician at 4AG Robotics, the candidate will play a pivotal role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting our advanced robotic systems on-site at farms. The position combines technical expertise with hands-on problem-solving to ensure optimal system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and calibrate agricultural robotic systems at customer sites.
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
* Provide hands-on and remote technical support to ensure continuous systems functionality.
* Offer comprehensive training to customers and farm staff on operating and maintaining robotics systems.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product reliability and serviceability.
* Document all service activities and develop preventive maintenance plans.
* Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for service activities.
* Support field trials of new equipment and prototypes, providing valuable feedback on performance.
* Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards when working on-site.
Qualifications:
* Certification in robotics, mechatronics, engineering, or a related field.
* Field experience, preferably in agriculture or robotics systems.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
* Effective communication and customer service abilities.
* Experience with automation systems, PLCs, and industrial control system is highly desirable.
* Flexibility to travel internationally and work in diverse indoor and outdoor environments.
* A valid driving license
