- North Circular Road Contract: Permanent, 0.80 Contract - Residential Roster, sleepover shifts expected.
Salary Range: €37,096 €53,674 pro rata per annum based on experience.
Salary Growth: Sector-wide pay agreement will provide for a 2% increase from the 1st of April ****.

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Care Worker who will act as a positive role model and contribute to a person-centred culture that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, direct support to adults with autism, offering emotional support while actively supporting health, wellbeing, and meaningful daily living.
Gheel Autism Services provides supported living services across Dublin, Kildare, and Wicklow.
Our supported living model places strong emphasis on developing independent living skills, recognising individual goals and aspirations, and enabling the people we support to be active and valued participants in their local communities.
Comprehensive assessments are completed in partnership with each individual to establish their wishes, preferences, and desired lifestyle.
Support is delivered in line with each persons individual needs, will, and life choices, considering social, personal, and healthcare requirements.
Staff work alongside individuals in their own homes and communities, supporting skill development in real-life contexts and building capacity for interdependence within social and community networks.
This role involves?
hands-on, direct support, including assistance with personal care, daily routines, and maintaining a comfortable and supportive home environment.
You will also support the development of essential everyday living skills such as money management, self-care, laundry, general household tasks, and cooking.

dynamic, active, and community focused.
Supports regularly take place outside the home and will include attending the gym, swimming, bowling, art classes, yoga, gardening, and other local social and recreational activities.
No two days are the same, and the role suits someone who enjoys being busy, flexible, and engaged in the community.

Essential Qualifications: Level 7 qualification in Social Care/Studies from an accredited institution, OR A recognised qualification equivalent to the Irish Level 7 award (NARIC), OR Relevant third-level degree in social work, psychology, or allied health, OR Post-graduate qualification in Autism Studies.
Essential Criteria: Excellent communication and engagement skills and adaptable to changes in routine At least one year of recent experience in a similar role.
Ability to promote independence in individuals with support needs.
A full, clean driving licence.
A thorough understanding of HIQA regulations.
CORU Registered or in progress Desirable Criteria: Experience supporting individuals with ASD and knowledge of autism.
Experience in case management.
