Job Title: Fabricator / Welder Location: Leitrim, Ireland (including site-based work) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established steel fabrication company for an experienced Fabricator/Welder.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering high-quality fabrication projects across a range of industries.
The successful candidate will be involved in workshop-based fabrication as well as occasional site work, contributing to the assembly and installation of steel structures.
Key Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to a high standard Fabricate and assemble steel components in line with technical drawings Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Carry out quality checks on fabricated and welded components Operate fabrication equipment including cutting, bending, and shaping tools Work collaboratively with engineers and team members Follow all health & safety procedures Assist with on-site installation and project work as required Requirements Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role Strong welding skills across MIG, TIG, and Stick Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience using fabrication tools and workshop machinery High attention to detail and quality Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to travel for site-based work when required For a confidential conversation about the role please apply for the role or contact Owen Clancy at By applying to this job post you agree that Sterling Engineering may process your personal data for recruitment purposes.
