Job Description
A role has become available for an individual to process invoices from suppliers in a timely and efficient manner. This includes initial input to final payment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process accounts payable invoices by ensuring accurate and timely processing.
* Monitor GRNI and post invoices accordingly to maintain financial integrity.
* Collaborate with other departments on any discrepancies arising on the GRNI, promoting effective communication and problem-solving.
* Investigate price differences with the procurement team and the supplier, ensuring fair pricing practices.
* Perform creditor statement reconciliations to verify accuracy and ensure compliance.
* Allocate credit notes on supplier accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
* Generate weekly batch payments for both Euro and GBP suppliers, streamlining financial processes.
* Liaise with vendors as necessary to address any issues or concerns.
* Create new vendors on the system to ensure seamless operations.
* Perform month-end AP tasks such as posting accruals to maintain accurate financial records.
* Review processes and suggest improvements to streamline the AP function, driving efficiency and productivity.
* Assist colleagues as needed, promoting a collaborative work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A 3rd Level Business/Commerce qualification is desirable.
* Experience in processing transactions on ERP or Accounting systems is required.
* Experience in a similar role is beneficial, demonstrating relevant skills and expertise.
* Strong attention to detail is critical, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
* Excellent time management and administration skills are essential, enabling efficient task completion.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and skills in ERP applications are required, facilitating effective use of technology.
* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are necessary, promoting collaboration and communication within the team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, enabling clear and concise expression of ideas.
