Role Description
The Insolvency Administrator is responsible for supporting the Personal Insolvency Practitioner in the administration and progression of Personal Insolvency Arrangements (PIAs), Debt Settlement Arrangements (DSAs), Protective Certificate applications and related insolvency casework.
The role involves significant client communication, document collection, case management, compliance administration and interaction with creditors, solicitors and the Insolvency Service of Ireland ("ISI").
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Administration
Send Letters of Engagement ("LOE"), Letters of Authority ("LOA") and Abhaile documentation to new clients via DocuSign.
Open and maintain client files and internal CRM records.
Request, collect and organise all required financial documentation from clients.
Follow up with clients regularly by phone, email and text message regarding outstanding documents.
Ensure all files are maintained in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Abhaile Administration
Prepare and submit Abhaile voucher applications.
Input debtor details into Vision Blue and the ISI Portal.
Monitor voucher approvals and progress claims through to payment stage.
Maintain accurate records of all voucher claims and payments received.
Case Preparation
Assist with preparation of Prescribed Financial Statements ("PFS").
Obtain creditor balances, statements and supporting documentation.
Request and review CCR reports, bank statements, payslips, Revenue documents and valuations.
Liaise with creditors, solicitors, accountants and third parties regarding client files.
Assist in preparing case summaries and documentation for the PIP.
Protective Certificate & PIA Administration
Prepare documentation required for Protective Certificate applications.
Monitor deadlines and key dates relating to Protective Certificates and creditor meetings.
Issue proposals and supporting documents to creditors.
Maintain records of creditor responses and voting outcomes.
Assist with post-approval administration of PIAs and DSAs.
General Duties
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Ensure accurate file notes and communication logs are maintained.
Support the PIP with general administration and workflow management.
Prioritise urgent cases and work within strict statutory deadlines.
Provide professional and empathetic communication to financially distressed clients.
Skills & Experience
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Ability to deal sensitively with vulnerable clients.
High attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.
Previous insolvency, legal, financial services or debt advisory experience desirable but not essential.
Salary Range €35,000 - €40,000
