Role Description
This is a part time(24 hours with additional hours available most weeks), on-site role for a Support Pharmacist based in Cork. The Support Pharmacist will manage daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications, providing consultations to patients, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. They will provide excellent customer care, monitor inventory levels, and offer guidance on over-the-counter products. The role also involves collaborating with the pharmacy team to support professional service growth and ensure the highest standard of care.
Qualifications
Strong clinical knowledge, medication dispensing, and understanding of pharmacy regulations
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on patient care
Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively within a pharmacy team
Experience in managing inventory and participating in professional service initiatives
Fully qualified and registered as a pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
Previous experience in a community pharmacy environment is an advantage
Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems is beneficial
