Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our M&E Consultancy, you will be responsible for the running of small projects, researching and developing designs for Mechanical and Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc.
You will develop and specify applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes. Your expertise in surveying, testing, and reporting on existing electrical/mechanical installations will be essential in ensuring that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements.
You will represent us at technical meetings with customers, professional teams, and contractors' teams. Preparation of specification modifications, including word or excel documents, is also a key responsibility. Ensuring engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards is critical.
Responsible for validation of Intermediate & Graduate Engineer input into designs, you will support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA/QC, and Technical Review perspective.
Requirements:
A degree-qualified individual with 8+ years of experience in a consulting engineering office or an engineering role within a manufacturing company with a heavy design emphasis. Working towards or having achieved MCIBSE/MIEE or equivalent is desirable. Chartered Engineer status is also highly valued.
You must possess excellent technical skills and written ability, be motivated and enthusiastic, commercially aware, able to work on your own initiative, meet deadlines, and liaise successfully with clients. Experience with BIM/Revit systems is desired.
Proficient in CAD, Word, Excel, and familiar with building services engineering design software suites, you will thrive in a hybrid working environment.
Package:
The successful candidate can expect a salary of €75k - €85k depending on experience. A competitive benefits package includes 23 days annual leave, rising to 28 after 5 years, a pension scheme, healthcare, annual bonus, and CDP.
