Job Opportunity: Senior Kitchen Manager
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume kitchen. The successful candidate will work closely with senior culinary staff to manage resources, maintain food safety and quality standards, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage inventory and cost control for ingredients and supplies
* Maintain a hygienic environment at all times
* Ensure accurate temperature readings are taken daily and documented
* Contribute to menu planning and pricing strategies
* Develop and train junior members of the team
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent qualification
* Intermediate Food Safety Certificate
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Previous experience in a senior management position within the kitchen
