Project Nature (T26): On-going Support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department
Responsibilities
Perform problem diagnosis and program fixing for various social security schemes including Traffic Accident Victims Assistance (TAVA) Fund and Criminal and Law Enforcement Injuries Compensation (CLEIC) Scheme.
Perform physical design and specify program components for system enhancements.
Prepare and conduct program testing and system testing.
Provide support to user acceptance testing.
Produce project documents.
Devise operating procedures.
Supervise Analyst Programmers to perform program development and system testing.
Perform on-call support duties.
Experience
Years of Total Post-Qualifying Experience: 7.0
Years of Relevant Experience: 2.0
Requirements
Experience in system development and implementation, preferably large-scale IT projects.
Hands-on experience in J2EE, Java Application Framework and Java programming.
Experience in application systems using Web Services.
Experience in SSADM methodology and quality assurance.
Experience in social security service systems is preferred.
Work experience with/in the government is required.
Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
At least 7 years post-qualification experience with at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar post and comparable capacity.
Technical Skills
At least 5 years Java Programming (JAV).
At least 3 years J2EE Development (JDE).
At least 3 years Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts, Apache) (JAF).
At least 3 years Web Services (WSV).
At least 2 years SSADM (SDM).
Non-Technical Skills
At least 2 years working with the Government (GOV).
At least 2 years quality assurance (QAS).
