Our client is a leading Engineering Consultancy with projects in the datacenter, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, educational sectors.
This role can be based in Cork or Dublin.

Responsibilities:
* Specifying and procurement of process & BMS field instrumentation
* Development of I/O lists and instrument indexes
* Designing control systems, schematics, and drawings in various industries
* Development of instrument datasheets from concept through procurement
* Participate in HAZOPs, ATEX reviews, SIL assessments, and Interlock reviews
* Development of Functional Specifications (FS) and User Requirements Specifications (URS)
* Development of system architecture for new Control Systems
* Collaborate with automation contractors to develop solutions/systems
* Ensure GAMP5 lifecycle and 21CFR Part 11 Compliance
* Establish automation and control systems scope of work
* Site work, client and electrical contractor interactions
* Attend site meetings, support construction and commissioning
* Estimate values of works and additional works when required
* Prepare snag lists of installed works
* Lead and coach junior engineers and team members
* Adhere to quality standards with attention to detail and accuracy
* Work with bus technology such as Fieldbus, Profibus, Devicenet, Ethernet IP, etc., and be familiar with DCS/PCS, BMS, and PLC systems
* Stay updated with Irish regulations, e.g., ET-101:2008
Requirements
* Third level degree in an I&C Engineering discipline
* Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience, preferably in industrial projects
* Ability to collaborate with automation contractors on solutions/systems
* Proactive, good communication skills, and team-oriented
Package
Salary €80k - €90k depending on experience
