General information Location : Ireland / Dublin Available for Work Visa Sponsorship: No Business area: Technology Strategy and will play a critical role in guiding development teams, ensuring best practices are followed, and delivering high-quality solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Your key responsibilities Develop and document structured solution artefacts including system context diagrams, application interaction views, integration flows and basic data models under guidance from senior architects.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Support architecture design across enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, ITSM and integration platforms.
Assist in mapping business processes (As-Is and To-Be) using structured approaches such as BPMN and swim lane diagrams.
Support data modelling activities including identification of entities, relationships and data flows across systems.
Create and maintain structured documentation of designs, configuration decisions and implementation guidelines.
Ensure compliance with quality, security and risk management processes across engagements.
Skills and attributes for success To qualify for the role, you must have: An undergraduate or graduate degree Minimum 3 years' experience working with enterprise business processes and core business application platforms, including ERP and CRM systems ( Oracle, MS Dynamics, Infor, Kraken, Salesforce or equivalent enterprise solutions).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Ideally, you will also have: Strong structured thinking and ability to break down complex problems.
Ability to produce clear technical diagrams and documentation using tools such as Visio, Lucid chart or equivalent.
Understanding of basic architecture layers (business, application, data, infrastructure).
Familiarity with business process mapping techniques including BPMN or swim lane modelling.
Foundational knowledge of APIs, REST services and integration concepts.
Basic understanding of relational databases, data entities and Entity-Relationship modelling.
Awareness of cloud computing concepts including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS models.
Understanding of security fundamentals such as role-based access control and data protection principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Proactive learner with ambition to develop into a Solution Architect role.
Ability to use effective written and verbal business communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.
