Test Engineer/Technician
Responsibilities
Test and analyse data from centrifugal pump tests: Hydrostatic, Performance, NPSH, Vibration and Sound.
Issue rework to the pump if required.
Prepare production paperwork for new jobs and issue to the production floor.
Maintain ISO 9001 files and conduct the annual ISO audit.
Maintain machine maintenance register.
Maintain equipment calibration register.
Willing to work overtime and work with a team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Environment
The Engineer will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. This is an opportunity to establish a career in mechanical and manufacturing engineering within a rapidly expanding company.
Education
Honours Bachelor's Degree Level 8 in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
One to two years' experience in engineering is preferable.
Adequate knowledge of the operation of pumps, diesel engines and electric motors. The train the successful candidate to excel in the job.
Excellent computer literacy skills. Our ERP System will be used on a daily basis.
Work well under pressure and deal effectively with customers and suppliers.
Able to multi-task between several priorities simultaneously.
Good Problem-solving skills
Work overtime if necessary to maintain our production schedule and solve critical issues our customers may have
