Telecommunications Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunications Technician to join our expanding team. In this role, you will support the installation of fibre-optic communication systems across various sites in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and maintain fibre-optic communication systems.
* Install and dress copper and fibre cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A).
* Terminate and test fibre and copper cables.
* Install cabinets, racks, patch panels, and ensure accurate labelling.
* Follow detailed design drawings and schematics.
* Travel across the EU for on-site project work.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience with fibre-optic and copper cable installation.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to Health & Safety.
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable with frequent travel.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
Requirements
* Relevant experience in cable installation and maintenance.
* Full, clean driving licence.
* Own transport (preferred).
* EU citizenship.
* Valid Safe Pass.
* Experience working at heights (training available).
* IPAF certification (training available).
* Manual Handling certification (training available).
* Valid passport and readiness to travel at short notice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €16.00-€22.00 per hour
