As the business continues to grow, they are now looking to hire a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working closely with the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for supporting a range of accounts and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and confident working independently in a part-time capacity.
* Processing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders
* Preparing and posting payments, including supplier and employee expenses
* Bank reconciliations and monitoring of daily cash movements
* Supporting credit control and assisting with customer invoicing if needed
* Assisting with month-end procedures and journal entries
* Maintaining accurate records and supporting document filing
* Liaising with suppliers and internal staff to resolve any finance queries
* General accounts and office administration tasks as required
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* 2–3+ years’ experience in an accounts or finance support role
* Comfortable working with accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Friendly, flexible, and proactive approach
