Junior Technical Author Dundalk, Ireland Were seeking a Junior Technical Author to join an innovative and fast-paced engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality technical documentation that supports the testing, installation, and maintenance of advanced electrical systems. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain test documentation in both Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF formats for use with in-house engineering applications. Validate and request equipment service tags through the companys internal database. Generate Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documentation. Compile Operation & Maintenance Manuals and Training Manuals. Produce accurate and detailed technical reports. Collaborate closely with production and project management teams across Ireland and the UK. Assist in employee training and process improvement initiatives. Manage and update the internal product documentation library. Requirements: Relevant third-level qualification (a background in electrical engineering or electrical trade is advantageous). 12 years experience in an electrical manufacturing or engineering environment preferred (but not mandatory). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving. Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings. A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
